Founded in 1989, Canzona's mission is to transform audiences through exceptional choral performance. Under the direction of Elroy Friesen, Canzona continues to delve into the Baroque masterworks while staying committed to introducing Manitoba audiences to lesser-known composers and providing context for the works of the past in the contemporary world. Canzona’s mandate is to bring exceptional choral music to Manitoba audiences and to provide high-level professional opportunities for Manitoba singers.

Prairie Theatre Exchange

Prairie Theatre Exchange presents five plays every season, specializing in new Canadian works and ranging from hilarious comedies to searing dramas. The theatre features a unique thrust stage, with audiences on three sides, resulting in an intimate and unique experience.

Royal Winnipeg Ballet

Versatility, technical excellence and a captivating style are the trademarks of Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet, qualities that have garnered both critical and audience acclaim.
